Understand solar panel efficiency

When you are trying to charge your batteries with solar panels, perhaps as an independent off-grid solutions, or a hybrid solution, where you are adapting to the grid, and storing excess power for a rainy day or for you own reasons.

Either way, when it comes to generating a certain amount of energy for your home, the types of panels you buy and there cost per watt are going to change power to your home, so it does depend on the types of panels you b uy and their efficiency levels.

It is going depend on efficient, some solar panels yield a higher efficiency rating than others, and deliver higher watts per hours. There are two core types of solar panels, that are most competitive,  Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline are both types of solar cells that are incorporated in the panels.

Understanding the difference between Monicrystalline versus Polycrystalline solar cell  panels

Monocrystalline solar panels are more expensive because they deliver a higher efficiency rating, and are less common because of prices. When it comes to sizing your system, system size for your solar panels are less large sized because you do not meat as many. Pollycrystalline are more cost effective, although they deliver a lower efficiency rating. Pollycrsystalline cells are the ordinary square blue ones you see on most roofs as a greater part of the solar panel system solutions.
