Choosing the best renewable energy is easy

Solar power unlike other sources of renewable energy is:

  • 100% environmental
  • Pays off fast
  • Practical for the home and being off or on the grid (you can even do both)

Although other forms of renewable energy may yield productive clean energy, they are foremost, not available to consumers living on the grid, so you are still stuck paying a high electricity bill. And, ultimately there are down sides to anything in mass production. For instance, dams may be able to produce renewable energy, but they greatly disrupt the eco-system, 55% of salmon and steelhead fish actually die going through a dam, disrupting the food chain for other animals. Wind power, and mass solar farms may seem good, but you will not be able to save money on net-metering like you would be refunded for rooftop solar. For instance, PG&E will credit the amount of watts you over produce if you are net-metering your solar.
